Base, posture, and connection
The three-part check that makes every position easier to read.
How to read it
What this entry helps you see
Base describes how you support and redirect force. Posture describes the alignment that lets you keep doing it. Connection describes where you can sense, contain, or move another body. Treat them as one diagnostic, not three isolated tips.
Study cues
- Locate your support points before moving
- Notice which direction your posture can recover
- Build connection before applying speed
Common errors
- Moving without a stable support point
- Confusing stiffness with posture
- Reaching for control without closing distance
